Hey, Grouchy! Yeah, that PSU might be the ticket to getting Mojo11 back up. I suspect it's the mobo, but someone suggested it might be the PSU.
Yep, as I recall we live in the same town. I could come by and pick it up if you let me know when/where. Edit: I wonder if I could use that mobo also?! This post has been edited by bbacher: Jun 21 2006, 07:26 PM |

Ooops, my bad. I had it in my head that you would be able to take the whole thing.
Can't keep it at my house because I was part of the decision process to remove it and I don't want to raise conflict of interests discussions. I'll find a good org to donate it to and that will solve all my needs. Thanks for the fast response. |

while looking for my KVM switch.. I stumbled upon some old cards.. haven't tested them out yet but see no reason they wouldn't work (sealed in a box & in anti-static boxes)
if anyone has use for them .. let me know.. 2- Matrox Millenium PCI Graphics cards (4MB mem I think) Adaptec AHA-2920 SCSI-1 card ( 50 pin external and internal ) Adaptec AHA 2940 SCSI 1/2 card, ( 50 pin external and internal ) Adaptec AHA 2940UW SCSI-3 card, ( 68 pin internal and external , 50 pin internal) - this is a dual channel card BusLogic BT-948 SCSI 1/2 card, ( 50 pin external and internal ) Buslogic BT-958D SCSI-3 Card ( 68 pin internal and external , 50 pin internal - dual channel also ) NCR S1365 SCSI Card ( 50 pin external and internal and 68 pin internal ) I know we were talking about trying SCSI.. well, looks like I got that covered.. once I get around to moving drive to my mom's new computer I'll have an Athlon box to experiment with - to see if there would be any benefits using SCSI.. but if anyone wants a card let me know.. -------------------- What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us - Ralph Waldo Emerson

QUOTE (JMartin @ May 27, 2004 05:26 pm) If you have hardware you want to donate to the project, please list the items here. Thanks I have a machine that has been crunching for 4 years this month that I am going to upgrade. So I will have extra parts that I want to donate so long as they are used for TD. ASUS motherboard with AMD Athlon 2800+ cpu, heatsink and fan. I can also come up with a hardrive probably too. I will ship free as long as it used for TD.. -------------------- Scott
