Full Version: Anything goes for E-bay (As long as it is small enough)

We have normally kept collections to just computer items. This makes sense since we are posting over at BBR and BBR is mainly computer related. But what restricts us from selling our own personal items to raise funds?

Maybe you don't have computer items or have donated all your old stuff. Times are hard and monetary donations might not be the easiest at the moment. Maybe you have some old items stuck in storage or up in the attic. Some collectible items, old magazines, baseball card collection, old wedding dress you will never wear again, etc..... Anything can be sold over E-bay.

Brian (Dersgniw) will work with you to get the item over to him. And as far as costs to you, there will be none. Your shipping will be fully paid, the profit from the sale will go directly to Project Hope. The only limitations we have is size, we need the items to not be overly heavy. We also need the item to be worth the time for the auction and to at least pay for S&H and some proceeds to go to the project. (Brian can discuss these issues with you one on one and a case by case bases over IM and in private.)

Up until now we have limited ourselves to mainly computer items. I think the time has come to think outside the box. We all have many items that are just sitting around and collecting dust, let’s put those items to use and keep the project funded for it to advance.

Thanks for your time, Slava
