This project has been established to build distributed computing machines or "crunchers" to participate in research conducted by World Community Grid.

Project Hope started as a twinkle in Team Discovery's eye back in May of 2003. A brief history of Project Hope can be found here.

We currently have 6 hosts running 17 "blades" (aka crunchers) running the World Community Grid Cancer Projects. That's over 67 GHZ of power running to help find cures!

We will open the book.
Its pages are blank.
We are going to put words on them ourselves.
The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day.
